During my 19 years as a trial attorney working for Farmers Insurance Exchange, I've had the privilege of representing hundreds of clients involved in automobile personal injury accidents, pedestrian claims, landlord tenant matters, premises liability, commercial trip and fall, dog bites, assaults, and mold/lead exposure. I have been lead counsel in 47 jury trials in San Francisco, Alameda, and Contra Costa Counties.
I obtained my bachelor's degree in 1993 from U.C. Berkeley where I graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with High Honors. I obtained my J.D. in 1996 from U.C. Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) where I earned the Prosser Prize in Criminal Law. I began my career with the Contra Costa County Public Defender's Office where I tried 9 criminal misdemeanor jury trials. I was then hired as a trial attorney by Farmers Insurance Exchange house counsel until 2017 when I transitioned to my own private practice. I am admitted to practice in state court and in Federal Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California.
I am fluent in Spanish, having spent my childhood in South America and Spain. I am also conversant in Mandarin Chinese.
